Charleston, South Carolina attorney. He was the son of Lambert Lance and Mary Gough St. John. Lambert Lance the younger (1758-1804) married Sarah Harvey (d. 1836), daughter of Maurice Harvey. Their children included: Lambert Gough Lance (1785-1801), Sarah Louisa (1787-1873), who married Daniel Huger (1779-1858), William Lance (1790-1840), Rev.
