    Mathews Sention

The author of the record doesn\'t use letters consistently from child to father. The record is also faded and hard to read. It appears to be M a t H e w (or ia)s. The problem is in the H followed by E in the child\'s name versus the H followed by E in the son\'s. Since it looks like two versions of HE, I believe son was named after father as Mathews rather than Matheias. There is clearly an E following the H which suggests instead of next IAS it is WS. -- 22 Dec 2017 Suzanne St. John
