PROBATE OSA5004 George St. John of Cannon, Tennessee

Friday morining September the 8th day 1848, the [Honorable?]
[unknown] feasts L. Ridlay chancellor appearing over this [day?]
said took his seat over the bench and ordered county
of Cannon County, to open Court; which was accordingly
done

David M. Farrate, Adm[inistrato]r of George St. John deceased,
John St. John; William St. John, Thomas St. John, Barry St. John
Arthur St. John, Martin St. John, sons of George St. John died.
----Good all & wife[,] Nancy and Barry St. John children of
Abner St. John, who was a son of said, interstate[end of phrase], Alexander
Warren, Gustavus Thornton & his wife Sarah Jane, Henry
Thornton & wife, Elizabeth Caranine, George M. Warren
Martha Warren, Arthur Warren & William Warren - the
sons last named of whom are minors without a regular
guardian and appear by their father & next friend
Arthur Warren, Elisha Stiles, John Stiles, Martha, who
intermarried -- Nancy Amo who intermarried with
Catharine Stiles, Mahaby Stiles,, the two last who are
minor without a regular guardian and appear by
by their father & next friend Elisha Stiles

Ex parte.

Be it remembered that this cause came
to the hands before Chancellor Ridley, and the [unknown] of
the clerk & [unknown] of this sale of the land, [unknown] is
the pleadings, which repart is in the words and [unknown]
following, committ.

In [unknown] to an inter[unknown[ decree
pro[unknown] in this cause on the 2nd day of December [1848].
