Birth: 1843 Decatur County Indiana, USA Death: Mar. 10, 1927 Greensburg Decatur County Indiana, USA MRS. ST. JOHN FOUND DEAD Veteran Resident of Community All Her Life – Leaves Husband Mrs. James C. St. John, 83, a resident of Greensburg and community all her life, was found dead in the bathroom of her home, 128 South Michigan avenue, at 5 a.m. today. She had walked into the bathroom and her husband heard her fall. When he got to her she was dead. Mrs. St. John had been in feeble health for several years and her death was not unexpected. Mary F. Montgomery was born two miles east of Greensburg in the year 1844. She was married July 30, 1861, to James C. St. John, who survives her. One son, Harry, died 38 years ago after reaching manhood. Mrs. St. John was a good woman, a devoted member of the Methodist church. Besides the husband she leaves a sister, Mrs. Elida Cobb, and a brother, George Montgomery, both of this city.
